How To Fix America For Dummies, Part One

Every leftist and liberal should read this, or at least I think so.

Common sense for fixing America

Do you ever wonder, do people ever actually get their info from reading things, or do they just get all their news from people spazzing on social media?

I have a few general points to consider, if you’re willing. If you already know everything in the world, please feel free to go about your business.

1). These days, the culture war is largely fixated on the disagreement between people with light-to-seriously bigoted beliefs and easily trolled liberals. The left is split because many of them accuse Democratic politicians of “virtue signaling,” of not actually caring about things like Black Lives Matter, that they’re just trying to get votes.

++ The truth: As always, Democrats are, through their use of pompous, sesquipedalian (see pic) language (in order to appeal to people who’ve graduated college, which is the main voting bloc that takes corporate Democrats seriously), understating the seriousness of our social justice mess. That shit bugs me, and it bugs a lot of other people. Meantime, let’s be honest, Republicans simply hate people who are in one or more of the following categories: blacks, gays, Asians, LatinX’s, college students, environmentalists, animal rights supporters, Muslims, people who ride bicycles, people who question the motives of billionaires, people who’ve tortured their feet into liking Birkenstocks, and anyone with a first name that has more than two syllables, unless a contraction is involved (Bobby-Joe, etc.).

++ What the Democrats should do: Refer to Trump supporters as Nazis. There’s no reason not to at this point. Examples unnecessary.

++ What would happen: If calling Trump supporters “Nazis” actually went past a short-lived meme and into everyday use, then Fox and the Trumpies (band name idea!) would either have to own it or start explaining why they’re not Nazis. Either way, a win for Democrats and liberals, or at least we could move on from all this nonsense and start arming up for real instead of threatening to do so on social media.

2). In case Bernie supporters haven’t bothered reading Biden’s campaign site (and who could blame you), the fact is that along with strengthening the ACA, Joe Biden is promising to add a public healthcare option similar to Medicare, meaning a program in which the government would negotiate rates with hospitals and such. You know, like in normal countries.

++ What Biden would run into if he won the White House: As always, resistance from Republicans, who would screech about “communism” to their legion of hookworm-infested idiots.

++ What you should do: Vote out as many Republicans as possible. After that, March on Washington and participate in a general strike until the public option is passed.

3). Bernie supporters, Green Party voters and such keep throwing around the word “neoliberalism” and saying they don’t like it.

++ The problem: Most people don’t know that “neoliberalism” basically means capitalism without any government regulation or intervention. This leaves people with only two choices: either larp as a super-smart commie by yelling two different things at once (“Capitalism sucks!” and “Neoliberalism sucks!”), thereby sounding like an unintelligible moron, or give up and watch Netflix.

++ The truth: Most sane economists know that a healthy society requires a mixture of capitalism (to inspire innovation) and socialism (to keep people alive). In short, capitalism doesn’t suck, deregulation sucks, because it directly leads to scumbag politicians green-lighting every effort to exacerbate climate disaster (see Trump, Donald J.).

++ What leftists should do: Stop saying “neoliberalism” when you actually mean “deregulation.” It’s not as smart-sounding, but at least people used to understand what the heck the problem is.

This has been a public service message.

If you want to be fully, genuinely prepared for the political troll/bot invasion of Election 2020, buy my book. There’s the tiniest bit of technical stuff in there, but you’ll get it, I promise.
